3. Operational Oversight & Flight Management
McKean Aviation Group oversees all aspects of daily flight operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and professionalism. This includes Flight scheduling and trip coordination Route planning, fuel planning, and vendor coordination with FBOs, ground handling, and service providers Monitoring weather, NOTAMs, and operational risks Ensuring all flights are conducted within regulatory and safety standards We serve as the operational liaison between owners, crew, and service partners.
4. Crew Management & Support
We manage or coordinate all flight crew responsibilities, ensuring qualified, professional personnel are in place at all times. This includes: Pilot and crew recruitment, screening, and onboarding Credential verification and recurrent training tracking Duty, rest, and scheduling oversight Payroll coordination and benefits administration (as applicable) Performance oversight and professional development Our focus is on building stable, safety-focused crews that align with the owner’s expectations and operational profile.
5. Maintenance Supervision & Asset Protection
McKean Aviation Group provides independent maintenance oversight to protect aircraft value and operational reliability. Services include: Maintenance planning and inspection scheduling Oversight of maintenance providers and service centers Review and approval of work scopes and estimates Monitoring downtime and return-to-service timelines Maintenance record review and audit support We act as the owner’s advocate—ensuring work is necessary, properly executed, and cost-effective.
